The Metropolitan University of Budapest (METU) is launching specialized continuing education in a completely new and current market area. The institution will launch the Financial Digitalization and Compliance Consultant training in September in response to the growing labor market needs in the fintech sector. The training forms a bridge between the knowledge material of IT, the new fields that appeared as a result of digitization, and the compliance fields, thereby offering a unique, complex, specialized expertise that spans these fields on the domestic market. The Metropolitan University of Budapest continues to expand its portfolio of specialized continuing education courses. This time, the institution is opening up to the fintech market: the course package specifically aimed at training financial digitalization and compliance experts is aimed at professionals entrusted with compliance tasks, internal audit, other control functions, and digitalization-related specialists. A highly qualified workforce affects the digitization efforts of companies in several dimensions, on the one hand, it is a prerequisite for the implementation of planned developments, and on the other hand, it is also essential for the everyday operation of already implemented projects and digitalized areas. Students who complete the training are also qualified to hold management positions in the areas of compliance, internal control, risk management, innovation, digitization, and digital transformation. They can play a role in the planning and development tasks related to the digital transformation of companies providing financial services, as well as innovative small, medium and large companies, and they will be able to see and manage the compliance processes related to operation following the transformation.
