The MVM Next application already provides information on annual consumption

We can find out at a glance whether we fit into the discounted framework of the utility reduction.

Last week, the government announced that it would limit utility reductions citing the international energy crisis caused by the Russian-Ukrainian war, so as of August 1, a residential customer will only be entitled to the previously discounted energy billing up to 2,523 kilowatt-hours of electricity and 1,729 cubic meters of natural gas per year. Since then, it has also been published in the Magyar Közlöny, making the new regulation referred to as the “overhead decree” official, in connection with which our partner site, Zöld Pálya reported on the details of the price increase. And now Magyar Electricity Works has also responded to the changed conditions and added a useful function to the MVM Next mobile application. First poked by HWSW that the Android and (iOS) versions of the app has also been updated to the new 2.2.0 edition, which now also indicates the customers’ annual consumption. The application states that the quantity is calculated based on the previous year’s consumption, and for new contracts, it is inferred from the previous consumption. To use the application, registration is required, which we must authenticate by entering the user ID on the account. The app can manage several places of consumption, and those who also receive electricity from MVM Next can also see the relevant data on the interface. In addition, on the MVM website detailed information was published about the modification of the overhead reduction, and we can also use a price calculator to calculate the new charges.
